When the Kenosha County Historical Society — founded in 1878 — needed a home for its expanding collection, the building offered the perfect fit. Since 2001, this unassuming industrial structure has been transformed into a place where Kenosha’s stories are preserved, interpreted, and shared. Remnants of its past remain visible, including the original overhead mechanical crane still showcased in the Rambler Legacy Gallery.
